Baha'i faith believes that "Oneness of Mankind will unite the people to live together in peace and tranquillity. As the evil of war, hate and prejudice do not dominate the hearts and mind of these people, they feel happy and satisfactory and initiate to talk with the people on the divided parties and try to create a unifying environment to bring them together to settle down with peace and unity, regardless of their nationality, religion, races and tribes.

As we know all people of the world; to have meaningful life, they have aims and ambitions similar to each other; such as joy of life, prosperity, good health, good education, good job, good hope, good family and a good country with law and respect and the unity of mankind will help them to live in peace and satisfaction.

Let us look at the great changes happened in the hearts and mind of many people in World war II. This World war II almost destroyed the world; millions of people lost their lives and millions of establishments become destroyed. Many damages from the World War II still may not had been repaired, but the people of the world, specially European started to rethink their position as this Europe always starting the war, these wars and wars had not given them better lives. So they decided to go for unity and respect to other people. This good hearty decision went first to the heart and mind of the French and the Germans. These two nations went together and started to talk with the other European nations for the "unity" and living together in peace.

It did not take long when these other Europeans nations joined together to create "The European Union". At present twenty-seven great European countries are together as members of the European Union. God Bless this European Union always and as one country, their life became better, their health became better, their education became better, their job became better, their working money became better, etc.

So far , not only they manage themselves with all the facilities and respect in addition, they also have extra resources and manpower to help the other country, too. "Bravo to the European Union", your union brought the "Oneness of Mankind fully" in practical way. Many thanks to you for your top humanity work.

Now take a look at another movement that can help the world for the unity of mankind and this is the great and respected United Nation. Years and years they are together, all the honourable members representing their countries are there to help the world to stop the creation of the war or the existence of war, to help the people from cruelty and to help the people from suffering from war, hate and prejudice. But their movement are slow and limited. Two reasons I would consider; Firstly: They cannot participate in the internal affair of any country. Therefore, the country that is run by dictatorship or cruelty make the life of the people very difficult as they don't receive help from the United Nation. That is obviously a weakness from the United Nation. Secondly: The slow movement of the United Nation is from the five country members comes veto privilege. Example; if twenty countries signed a resolution to help a part of the world, if one of this members vetoed the resolution, then that resolution would be cancelled.

Baha'i faith believes that United Nation is well established and they need more power to change the world, as United Nation today will become United Nation legitimate World Government. Why not? They have all the respected members representing their countries and they should have gradually more power to become world government and create a law for "equal opportunity right and respect for all the people in the world.
