This video has been recorded in August 2017 ( 174 Baha'i Calendar)

Speaker: Capt. Mohabaty

One of the important teachings and principles of the Baha'i Faith is Equality between Men & Women. The Baha'i Faith believes in strong voice that all men and women are created as children of God. God created life for them with love and support. They have always equality, right and respect. God also gifted them with perfection and intelligence, and these should not create any supercity or differences between them in the ground of sex.

The perfection for the men and women is a good heart with their affection and love, the way they serve the people. Privilege is also possible, sometimes, it creates to some people better life; like those who are gifted with exceptional talents and skills (those who are very intelligent-skilled people). These may get some success in sports - they are champions; some have discoveries, inventions in science and technology; or they have success in the field of music, literature, politics and others; and these make them better and other people know them more.

If we look at the life of those ladies in the past and now who are serving the people, there are many of those who very popular and famous in their services. Some examples of them - just to cite a few of them: Queen Victoria former queen of the British Empire, Mrs. Ghandi former Prime Minister of India, Mrs. Golda Mayer former Prime Minister of Israel, Eva Paron former President of Argentina and Mrs. Reagan & Mrs. Roosevelt two honourable American first ladies who are the wives of two American presidents. These are some examples of all other examples, the people like them because of their work in politics.

We also have Madame Curie, she did service in medicine and chemistry. We also have one honourable lady, in Baha'i Faith, Tahirih Qurratuu'l-Ayn, she was actually a poet. She wrote many poems for the Oneness of Mankind, about love, and how we could live together in peace as family. She travelled a long way in the Middle East and in the Far East for this teachings. She spent all her life this way. So these are the ways we could remember them that women and men, as far as the Baha'i Faith is concern, they are equal in right and respect and their movements are accounted these way.

I will read some holy writings:

"The body of the bird is the world of humanity and the two wings represent the male and female, by any reason if one wing is defective the strong-perfect wing is not able to fly."

"The entrance of women into all human departments is irrefutable and incontrovertible question. No soul can retard or prevent it and in no movement will women be left behind."

Thank You for listening.

Baha'is show up with politeness, work and hope,

From the joy of their love and unity to fortunate scope.
